Much greatness

Last night was a good kung fu night. One of the instructors from the old school arranged a deal with another local school to teach on Tuesday nights, followed by renting out their space for the following two hours. Thus it was that I did a one hour Hung Gar class with him instructing last night, followed by Sun Style Tai Chi taught by Sifu Lam, and followed by some 'open studio' time... and thus it was that I practiced sword for the first time in ages. Yes, give me an open studio once again, and you better believe I'll grab a weapon to use! (Not a terribly wise idea to use those in parks and the like) Also did a few northern Shaolin sets, and had a good time in the Hung Gar class. The body is feeling it today too, which is a great feeling. Hooray for greatness!

To be complete, I should mention that the wrist is a biiiit sore today after last night's fun, so some icing here and there has been in order.

(Interested in joining the Hung Gar class? Comment here and I'll send you the details...)

In the also very great category is the announcement that William MacDonnough has been hired by Google to do preliminary design for their new campus here in Mountain View. If you haven't read Cradle to Cradle yet, rush out now, get it, and read it! Then, read here for the announcement itself.
