Fun: Otters! I may have to visit the aquarium again soon...
Cool: Fancy a trip? Check out step 20. A sense of humour is not dead at Google...
Not cool: yet too real.

Mind you, I would probably be one of the fortunate ones that had good medical coverage, but that is really not the point.
The guy it right though. $12,000 is insane for 15 minutes of actual care. If I didn’t have coverage, I’d just get up and try to make it back to my county and take the chance that I did not have any internal injuries. Could you imagine being taken to a hospital knowing that the second you stepped in the door it would bankrupt you.
I especially "like" (not) the comment from the hospital asking him if he could sue anyone to cover the bill. Just crazy!
You + Me = Aquarium SUPER fun!!!! Yes?

Actually, I think I'll make a blog post about it :P But it is one of the things I definitively noticed costs me living here: simple peace of mind. (and the amusing thing is: the USA spends DOUBLE on healthcare than Canada does. And has a lower life expectancy and higher infant mortality rate)
